The tea time offer at Petersham is really simple: a selection of excellent cakes cut into generous slices and proper leaf tea served in individual teapots. It's a self-service experience and, depending on the season, you can choose to sit in an old greenhouse furnished with small trees and shrubs or in the nursery gardens round about.
A magical place takes you back in time. You can buy anything and nothing here. Overpriced but very interesting. More for the eyes. Worth a visit!
Very atmospheric tea house/restaurant situated in old green houses. Food is great albeit a bit pricey. Besides all it's a plant nursery too, but I would rather buy my plants at a garden centre for more reasonable prices. Dog friendly!
A very unique place in London. Must-visit! Great fresh ground coffees and cakes are just another story. This place also has a shop if youre fancy exotic or ordinary plans. Worthwhile to visit.
Lovely after a long walk in Richmond park and to sit down for tea. Except I missed that memo and drived, it's not very well sign posted to where it is, if your local you would know I'm told I'm based in Epsom. Best if you take a small car as parking is tight. But made better by surroundings I went last weekend, wrap up warm!
