Complete messers! Total embarrassment...Drove nearly 2 hours to view a Mini Cooper which was all good at first inspection. Where he insisted we pay a 1000 deposit to secure the car as the car still needed some engine work so we couldn't drive it home that night. The engine light was on and he told us at first the sensors needed changing and that the car was going to be delivered 2 days later after it goes for its MOT.2 days passed and suddenly more sensors were faulty and needed changing. Along with a switch board a few more days later which he said we needed to wait for a brand-new one from BMW to be delivered which took more days. 11 days later from the first viewing of the Mini he told us that the engine was basically faulty and that he wasn't going to sell us the car and would refund the deposit. To our surprise the exact same Mini Cooper that we viewed went back up on his website and eBay the very next day BUT the price was increased. A few days later we ran the number plate through the GOV's car checker to find out that it did indeed pass its MOT and has a whole years TAX stamp on it. Clearly proving that the car was then re-sold to another person even though he tried to fill our heads with complete garbage about it's being broken. I took my business elsewhere and now have a better spec Mini than I could have ever wished for with 0 hassle.Shameful.
This garage really makes you understand what the meaning of daylight robbery is. The pro is that they do predominantly deal with minis, but they let themselves down in the honesty department. They make you do work you don't need, tell you you don't need to do certain work to appear honest, and good customer service in a connish way. If you have bottomless pockets and don't mind being taking for a fool- go to this place. Otherwise, stay away.
