Massive store ,yoou can pretty much everything you need in here.
Its a Homebase - you know what to expect. Enjoy this one while it lasts, as its soon going to be torn down and replaced by flats...
Looks a bit run down and dated but has everything you need for doing your DIY job. Great range of paints. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Garden centre located here. Car parking directly in front of store.
Not bad, not so many staff and a bit of a wind tunnell outside, but they had what I needed, and loads and loads of parking space
Perhaps the poorest customer service I have ever received. I wanted some shelf brackets.Website showed two in stock in Richmond. I reserved them and they would be ready in 3 hours.Went to store three hours later to collect. I was told they had not "been picked", but I could get them off the shelf myself. I was given directions to where I would find them. I was sent to the wrong part of the store. When I worked out where the correct part of the store was, they were not there on the shelf.I went back to the front desk and asked the staff to find them. 10 minutes later, they admitted they couldn't, and offered to order me one in.Now, I had made a special trip to Richmond (because they were in) so I asked if they could be sent to my local homebase. "No, sorry we can't do that."I gave up at this point, told them to forget it and walked out. The round trip took me an hour.Quite simply, they should have offered to send them to my house. That would be customer service.
