I have 2 daughters who attend and they love it. I think they could benefit from offering a bit more feedback to parents, maybe an end of term review on their progress alongside of the watching week class, but overall happy with RGA. My 9 year old has been attending since she was 2 and a half and she still enjoys coming so obviously she gives it the thumbs up.
Really loving attending lessons at RGA, daughter was on a waiting list for almost a year but once in, good teaching, enjoyable sessions and daughter wants to be signed to their gym camps too. Only suggestion is not to rely on emails only, in particular when there are tight deadlines to pay for following term and thus maintaining the place!
They need a serious look into what safeguarding is and how to treat children right.
I am very disappointed at the very poor communication. My daughter has been on the waiting list over a year. Last summer they emailed me and said that I have to enrol her for a week as one of the conditions for keeping her place on the waiting list. I paid for a week and she enjoyed the sessions and was very keen for a permanent place. But no communication form Richmond Gymnastics since then and I and my daughter have lost hope and started looking elsewhere. What a shame.
Incredibly rude staff, I was so excited to get my daughter into the toddler group and join the gym but the staff is so rude and I was told that there is no option to trial a class or see the gym prior to joining. It does not seem like a happy nurturing environment for parents and children rather just a place that is looking for ways to get money out of local parents. Such a shame, there are other gymnastics schools on the British Gymnastics Organisation that are willing to work with families to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that the gym is a good fit.
