Like the Reference Library, the staff on the desk are 5, though this is a bit more variable on a Sunday afternoon with some of the inexperienced helpers. Has free WiFi and confusers, but sadly the few newspaper's here have now been discontinued to save money.
Very nice library. Amazing choice of books, very helpful staff. Just a pleasure to visit it.

My first bad experience after nearly 2 years using this library. In contrast to the most helpful young lady I have dealt with previously, I encountered a young man this morning, for whom it was too much trouble to check out the author Bernard Cornwell without being fed a specific title. All that was needed was a chronological list of Cornwell's King Alfred Saxon novels, so that I could borrow (or reserve) the next in order. Apparently, this was beyond his limited capabilities. A sad comment on the young of today.
