I had a simple problem that I sorted out through a phone call in the end. Two days running I was told my security question or my debit card was wrong. Even so, when I was put through to the phone customer services that I could have called from home. I gave the same answer and they immediately validated me and asked me what the issue was. How come the staff in the shop, when given the same information found an ambiguous problem they basically were not sure about. If it was an honest mistake then the computers want looked at! I am still feeling bemused about the whole affair. Madness!
Genuinely appalling. If there is the slightest chance your phone may go wrong (and there is), go elsewhere. O2 have created a process designed to stall and confuse customers when they need them most, rather than help them. In spite of the fact that Apple told us that it was the retailer's (O2) responsibility to replace a faulty iphone bought here, and legal advice confirmed this, staff repeatedly claimed to be unable to help. And the customer service number they recommend is an exercise in avoidance and frustration. So now, we have to take them to court to enforce a statutory consumer right and avoid paying for a phone that doesn't work and airtime we can't use.
SERVICE excellent...If you get the right person.
Useless staff! After waiting for 25 minutes for the two guys who were both trying to setup a new contract to fail in their attempt I get to state my request: I want to set up a low balance auto top-up for this SIM that I use on my motorbike tracker. I think they didn't understood what I was trying to achieve and they just told me that "The system isn't working". Once I re-iterated I was told that you couldn't set up a low balance auto top up on a SIM. Which was unbelievable as I had just spent the last 20 minutes reading about how you can do that. I thanked them and just left. Got home, borrowed a phone from my neighbour which was compatible with the 2G SIM, registered a new O2 account and set up a low balance auto top up. Took me 5 minutes once a had the SIM working on the phone. Avoid this O2 shop as you will just end up losing time.
Great service really helped me out and gave me great advice would definitely recommend this place
