I feel compelled to put in writing how fantastic it has been to work with Justin Cleverly on the sale of our property at Featherstone Leigh Richmond branch. I have been speaking to Justin for a few months and not only has he been utterly professional in every way possible - he has been jolly nice to deal with.We have been trying to sell our property with other agents over the past 7 months - in which their after sales process was quite frankly a shambles, which in turn resulted in a loss of sale. Justin was true to his word and was professional all the way through the process.I dont send emails very often, as its not often that I am blown away by someones attitude, professionalism and upbeat manner. Justin is a credit to your organisation and been a huge help over the past few months.I will not hesitate to recommend your firm to everyone moving forward.
This is for the company as a whole: Upon moving out they charged my nearly 3000. I'm being charged for damages done by the landlord. Really wish people had taken the time to review them and let me know how bad they are. I believe I am being charged 25 per light bulb. They also took photos of my apartment with my child in after they were told not to. They wouldn't stop. Pretty disgusting and they defended themselves.
Fraser & Melanie were amazing throughout our move . Everything was very smooth and easy. I highly recommend Featherstone Leigh in Richmond.
Be Cautious!! ( Both landlord and tenant)I had good impression of this agent when we first rented a property from it a few years ago. However, you will only see its true colour when you move out. We notified the agent 3 months in advance. The agent booked about three appointments with me during this period. The first time--although I called to confirmed that they had the keys themselves, it turned out that they failed to enter into the flat because of the key. The viewer apparently gave up. The second time-- the appointment was a saturday afternoon 4pm. However, someone from the agent came to the flat in the morning about 10am, saying a prospective tenant would like to see the flat right now. My paterner and I were still in bed, so I refused such request. Then, another staff of the agent brought a couple to view the property at aggreed time in the afternoon. YOU KNOW What?! The couple was specifically looking for a two-bedroom flat on ground floor, whereas ours is a one-bedroom flat on first floor. The agent clearly took the wrong viewer to the flat!About one month before our removal, the agent finally realized that they might need to take some photos of the flat to advertise(before that, only a few sentences of description on Rightmove). So, the third time--they emailed to make an appointment for pohto-taking, although i explicitly told them several times via text message/phone/email that I do not check email often. it's better to text me. I saw the email about 1 week later. I replied with my available time in the follwing week ( I thought they didn't have the key to the flat after the first appointment, so I had to stay at home). No one replied. Then, suddendly one day (about two weeks before our removal), the agent texted & emailed me, complaining that i failed to reply to their prior requests. Excuse me?!! I just replied them a ridiculous property check request a few days earilier---it is ridicouous, beacuse the requested date for the property check is two weeks AFTER our removal . I carefully cleaned the flat, and dedicated time for each of their appointments! Two days later, I realised why they expressly complained me-- the landlord has assigned another property agent to advertise the flat. The new agent took the potos of the flat, advertised it on rightmove, brought two viewers and found a new tenant all WITHIN ONE DAY!! Then, we know how much cost we have to pay for "losing" its client: The new tenant would like to move in a few days earily. Purely out of kindness, we negotiated with our new landlord and aggreed to moved out 2 days eariler. Featherstone then send us a bill of GBP 90 for amending the tenancy aggreement, despite they knew the fact that it was requested by the new tenant not us! I replied them that we would not pay anything and would move out in accordance with the contract. During this time, we mentioned several times in emails about our moving-out date(the date we moved in & pay rent). We, nevertheles,s moved out 2 days ealier, as we could not change our new tenancy again. We hired professional cleanning company to clean the whole and handed the keys to the agent at 9:30 am of the aggreed moving-out date. Today, we received an invoice for one-day rent, saying we dealyed our removal in accordance with the tenancy aggreement! If we miscaculated the date, shouldn't they tell us in the begnning??!In addition, we also received a check-out bill of GBP 120 and a long property check report----I am very curious about how much will they deduct from our depoite eventually, whereas I am confident that we mainteined the property well. Let's see.
The best compliment I can give is that the letting team at Featherstone Leigh have helped me for many years to let my flats in Richmond and as result of their excellent help and support I have never needed to use any other letting agents! Special thanks at this time goes to Becky and Melanie for their highly professional focus and pleasant manner on all aspects of managing the entire process.
