I am a landlord using various Estate agents for years. Ivanka Modesteva the lettings manager at Foxtons is the main reason I am keen to use Foxtons. She is reliable, super organised and above all a pleasant character to deal with. She maintains a high level of professionalism both personally and at team level. Ivanka and her team are extremely efficient and helpful to clients. I recommend using Foxtons at Richmond for lettings under the management of Ivanka.
Once Foxtons have your details they will not stop contacting you. I have asked them repeatedly to remove me from their database, but they continue to call me every few months. To the point it has now become more than a tad annoying..They also charge almost twice the going rate compared to other estate agents in the area that offer just as good a service. Save your money and go to someone who offers as good a service at a much better rate.
It was my first time that I have been looking for a flat to rent through Foxtons, and I have to admit this was one of my best experiences finding a flat in London so far. The staff is very nice and professional over the phone and deal with your request very quickly. My main contact person at the agency was Matt Y, who understood my requirements very quickly and arranged a few good options for me to view on the same day. Since I needed to move to a new flat quite urgently, he acted very quickly, so that i can move in on time. Referencing process went very smoothly as well, and Matt was always reachable and responded quickly to any of my queries.
I have spoken to two agents at Foxton.co.uk. Richmond and Kingston. Both of them have been very understanding and kind with my circumstances and situation, the reply they gave was very well mannered and displayed adult maturity. Which was pleasing and comforting for me to know that there are still humans in this world who are raw and spiritual. It's people like you who would create a better society. Matt has been by far the best estate agent I've ever come across. He has a natural ability to listen to the tenant's needs and he will not present a property unless it lives up to the requirements you present him with.
