Ive bought mens shoes from Bowleys many times including smart shoes for work and casual boots and boat shoes. Helpful and efficient staff and a really good local store. Like others, I dont recognise the comments of the poor reviews here. This is a great example of the kind of local business I want to support.
Don't understand the negative reviews. A competitor perhaps? Their range of shoes is right to my taste and the staff aren't in your face pushy. Perfect.
My experience supports negative comments above. Besides, they are one of the very few companies that do not refund. I changed my mind half an hour after the purchase and they would not refund me. Cannot think of another company that would not do it.
Pop in here a fair amount, no problems. Excellent sale prices and always a good choice of high end brand shoes. Perhaps people should take heed of the no returns on sale items policy before purchase.
How this shop is still trading amazes me!! I bought an expensive Abro bag that fell apart after 2 months. On taking it back they would not give me a credit note or refund only offering to repair it at no expense to me. I told them I did not want this but they did it anyway. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They are crooks!!!!!
