I have been there with my colleagues in Nov before and it was amazing. I decided to book the restaurant again to celebrate NYE with my husband however it was disappointing as we had a tasting menu for 95 each , the food was tasteless and too simple, also the portions size were tiny. we felt we had been ripped off from the restaurant. However the service was great but again it would be difficult for us to go back there again. I would not recommend going there for NYE
I misplaced my umbrella while at the Bingham enjoying a family event. They were super helpful in getting it back to me. The restaurant manager promised he would find it and get it back to me, which he promptly did! He even 'went the extra mile' and had it posted to my home address.
45 for a 3 course meal excluding drinks as part of a party. Decor, etc was quite nice but very busy and full of posers and posh wannabees with noses pointing firmly in the air. Good if you're in to that kind of thing. This normally wouldn't be my kind of thing, but for the price I was expecting spectacular. What we got was distinctly, average food and not very much of it. Sure, the presentation was nice, but to me food should 1. Satisfy you (i.e. feed you!) 2. Taste nice / interesting. Service was nothing special, in fact they got the orders wrong (our names and what we'd ordered were on place cards in front of us). Spilled water over the table and constantly bothering us for wine.Salmon starter was dyed, had fake cucumber capers. little taste. Hake main was maybe a 1/3 of a normal portion with two slices of leek and a couple of new potatoes. Desert was thawed out frozen apple pie with weird smoked ice cream which didn't go together.Really disappointing, particularly as this place liberated us of 90 for the meal and the drinks were paid for, so it should have been a lot more.No more poncy restaurants for me.
Best service we ever had! Water was filled regularly without us having to ask for it. The table was cleaned after each meal and the food was great!!! Waiters were very attentive and friendly. It was worth it to spend our 4th anniversary here! Thank you!!!
Just couldn't recommend this hotel enough! We booked for a overnight dinner and stay for a group and were looked after impeccably. Everything we possibly needed - from help hiring bikes to a stunning dinner and drinks reception were perfect and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be coming back! lovely staff and excellent stay
